EXPLORE NORTH PARK’S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND VISITOR
DEMAND FOR THE VIBRANT BUSINESS DISTRICT OF NORTH PARK, SAN DIEGO.
Explore North Park is a sales and marketing-focused brand, whose main objective is to promote and market North Park, San Diego as a leisure and meeting destination in Southern California through targeted out-of-market and localized marketing campaigns. We work with key stakeholders to drive economic growth and create inclusive San Diego community events and experiences.
North Park, San Diego is a powerful, attractive neighborhood that draws an increasing number of visitors to the surrounding area supporting consumer spending in our local North Park boutiques, breweries, craft cocktail bars, restaurants, Historic Observatory Theatre, and small businesses.
We love our North Park neighborhood and support the ever-evolving Explore North Park brand and market it with intentional efforts to balance the quality of life for North Park residents and businesses. We take pride in our efforts of mobility and eco-consciousness as we grow our space in the San Diego Tourism space.

North Park Main Street
(NPMS) is a member-based, non-profit organization formed in 1985 to revitalize
and market North Park’s commercial district. NPMS is led by a volunteer Board of
Directors comprised of business and property owners. Professional economic development
staff carry out the organization’s day-to-day operations, which include programs and
projects designed to improve local business conditions. Some of these activities include:
organizing special events and marketing campaigns, fostering member communications
and public meetings, guiding streetscape improvements and beautification projects,
and technical assistance to and public advocacy on behalf of the district's small
